  1. I am the buyer for ARS. I get samples of dog products from companies and have quite a collection. Would like to donate them to you. Please send your shipping address.

  2. He we’re a pet friendly family looking to add another member to our family. We have one dog 3 y/o around 40lbs terrier/dachshund mix, a rather plump 3 y/o cat, and a young human age is approximately 2. We are looking to add a dog who could grow up with our boy and become accustomed to him wanting to play with him, not aggressively, I was recommended to you by one of your foster parents and hope none of these are dis-qualifiers. Look forward to hearing from you soon, thanks.

  3. Hi! I am looking so forward to being SS to two of your little ones. In searching for ideas, I checked Amazon to see if you had wish lists for your group. I didn’t find anything. Do you have one? If not, is this something you would find beneficial? I want to help with your org, but I live in Cumming, so hands-on will be limited. But if there is something I can do from Cumming (i.e., maintain wish lists, transport, etc,) I would love to help in capacities that are not geographically locked to Rutledge. Thanks for your consideration!

  4. Hello!

Just wanted to reach out to you all and let you know I filled our your application yesterday. My daughter spoke with you on the phone about coming to visit sometime when you think you may have a match for us after you have had time to review our application. Please let me know if you have any additional questions and I look forward to meeting you.

  5. Please contact me as I am interested in adopting. I would like to know how to get to your facility. I lost my boston one year ago and have been miserable without him. Any information will be most appreciated. We live in Waleska and would love to visit and play. Thanks for all you do for these amazing dogs. Thoroughly enjoyed the pictures/videos.

  6. We live in Illinois and were just wondering if we can adopt a dog if we are not in the State of Georgia. We had our son’s Boston for 2 years while he was moving for employment and he has since taken him with him. We miss him so much and would like to adopt one of our own.

    • Yes, we adopt out of state, but the adopter is responsible for picking up the dog. 🙂

  7. It would be great if the Rescue Ranch would make a Wish List in Amazon. I would like to donate items that you need and would greatly appreciate a list of items to choose from.

Thanks for your hard work and dedication to my favorite pups!!

  8. Hi-Do you have any full bloodied boston puppies (less than a year)I don’t want to bred just love a baby…-we lost our boston last week and our lives are totally empty.

    • We do get puppies, however, they are less frequent than older dogs (average is 2-5 years). If you are specifically looking for a puppy, I would reccomend applying to be pre-approved and on a wait list.

  9. You have a Boston named Dorothy Jean that is in hospice foster. What does that mean? Is there something I can do to help? I would like to help in some way since we share a name.

    Dorothy Jean A.

    • Dorothy,

I am so sorry I am just now getting this message. Dorothy Jean the foster dog is in what’s called Hospice care as she’s approximately 17 years old, has some inoperable mammary tumors, and not able to be adopted. She will live out the remainder of her life here being loved and spoiled until her time comes. If you would, Dorothy loves a good dog bed. Please feel free to email us at if you are interested.

  10. Hi! I recently spoke with Courtney and completed an online application. My family would love to add a Boston to our family. We live in Roswell and have two children…Margot (10) and Brody (7). Can we set up a home visit so we can make sure that we are pre-approved for when you have a good match for our family? Also, we’d love to come visit Rescue Ranch sometime soon. Can we set up a day/time to visit? We hope to hear back from you soon. Thank you!

  11. I would like to get info on volunteer day. What ages can participate and where your located?

    • I apologize I didn’t see this prior to this month’s volunteer day! We are open to all ages. We have jobs from picking up poo, to washing dogs, to moving things, to assembling tools, to building on the playset, to washing dog bowls & beds so that almost everyone can find something to help with.

  12. Hi, are you open to accepting surrenders at this time? I have a 2 year old Boston boy who will need a forever home since I will be traveling extensively for work in the near future and do not want to board him for long periods of time. He is housebroken, knows basic commands and loves being around other dogs.
    Hoping to hear from you,

    • Cynthia,

I just emailed you. Please reply or call 770-500-0480 if you have questions.

      Thank you,

  13. Hi guys! This is Slater’s mom in Chattanooga, TN. Did Hank ever get adopted? I’m off work for the summer and interested in finding a young adult / middle aged adult buddy to add to our one pack. Needs to be someone who plays, but plays gentle (Slater is blind), low-medium energy, and preferably good on a leash and in the car!
Thanks so much – hope all is well!

  14. Hi! First of all, thank you for what you are doing. This is a beautiful thing I wish I could help this breed like you do.
Secondly, I was wondering if we could come visit the Boston’s. We have 1 male, Chip, who is 3 years old. We want to get him a companion but would love for him to be able to meet the Boston before we officially adopt. You know, to ensure they get along. We’ve been searching for another Boston for our family for a year and half now.
Let me know if this is possible and possible dates when we could visit. Thank you!!!

  15. We just filled out an app and I wanted to let you know we are open to a frenchie or a pug as well. Like I told Courtney when I talked to her earlier, we are all about those smooshie, brachycephalic faces.

  16. I’m interested in adopting a female puppy. I saw a puppy named Georgia that you rescued. I would like to know if she is available.

    • We do not have any puppies currently available. Normal wait time for those specifically looking for a puppy is 6 months to a year after approval (often longer if you are looking only for purebred or a particular gender). Puppies are not common in rescue, but do happen.

  17. I would like to volunteer but cannot foster right now. I can transport pups as well as other things. Please contact me if you have a need for me

  18. Please sign me up to receive the newsletter. I have 2 bostons, Sadie and Max. I found Max on the side of a country road after being dumped out. I am grateful for the work you do to ensure that many bostons who would not have a chance are able to live a healthy happy life!

  19. Hello,
My name is Bobbi Lekhmus and on the bta Facebook page a dog looking to be rehome in my area was brought to my attention. I could get her pay the fee and foster her if I could find a rescuse to take/sponsor her. We just can’t afford the spay and vetting this girl would need. I could foster her until you could intake her use one of your own fosters,or even until she’s adopted. I have adopted all my animals aND my BT Taters I adopted from costal Carolina boston terrier rescue. I can also give you several people for refrences if needed. But please do get back to me as soon as you can. I would love to help this baby . Thank you

  20. We are interested in Ziva and possibly Cutie Pie too. Weren’t you trying to keep them together since they are sisters?
I understand Cutie Pie is heartworm + and has to stay w/ you for her treatment, so would you let Ziva go to a forever home now?
We have a 4.5 yr old Boston female, very spoiled! Would Ziva get along w/ her you think?
    Please send pics of both!
    Thank you!

  21. Hello I have a Tea Cup Chihuahua puppy who was born with a problem with his front legs and sadly I can not keep him, I have 3 dogs already. A worker at my local Veterinarian gave him a physical and recommended your ranch she adopted her pup from. She said that you could do a great job with him. I just don’t want him killed. He is very strong and healthy but has a problem with his front legs. If you could help me it would be greatly appreciated. I could bring him there.

  22. I have a 6 month old Boston Terrier that I need to find a new home. I don’t want money just a good home for him. He can’t come where I am moving. I don’t want to give him up but have to. He is full breed and shots are current. I am in Covington GA.
